How it works
PSM Pal analyses your vehicle by combining statistical failure data with your current mileage and region. Select your make, model, engine, and year — then run any analysis to generate visual charts.
Survival curves
A survival curve shows the probability that a component will not require repair across mileage intervals. The shaded bands represent 75% and 95% confidence intervals derived from aggregated repair data.
Category risks
Each system — engine, brakes, transmission, suspension, steering, exhaust, electronics, HVAC — is assigned a failure probability for your chosen mileage range.
Cost projection
Expected repair costs are calculated by multiplying failure probabilities by average repair prices, then adjusted by a regional coefficient to reflect local labor and parts costs.
Credits
Each analysis consumes credits. Credits never expire. New accounts receive 100 free credits on signup.
